Steamboating: Days of Glory Cruise
May 24 & 25, 10AM – 4PM
Members $50/ Non-members $60/ Children under 16 years $30/Under 4 $1
Day One – Upriver ports of call - Day Two – East to the Boothbay Region
Steamboats were once the tour buses of the Coast of Maine, representing the easiest means of getting from one port town to another. Step back in time and retrace these historic routes of days gone by, exploring shorelines that remain largely unchanged from the days of steam. Cruise the Kennebec, Sheepscot, Sassanoa, Hells Gates, and visit upriver & downriver destinations just as the old “steamers” did.
All Cruises include two-day Museum admission. Don’t forget cameras; photo ops of lighthouses, seals, eagles, and ospreys abound. Cruises are subject to cancellation due to inclement weather, unforeseen circumstances, or private charter. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to departure. Advanced reservations are recommended.
