Extraordinary Wildlife of Merrymeeting Bay Cruise

Merrymeeting Bay is gem in our midst. Explore the bay’s extraordinary ecological vitality and abundant wildlife both above and below the surface. See endangered and protected species of wildlife, including short-nosed and Atlantic sturgeon, bald eagles, ospreys, and many species of fish. Explore below the surface as we fly an ROV (remotely operated vehicle) in search of the region’s abundant aquatic life. These trips will be narrated by members of local environmental organizations including Maine Audubon, Lower Kennebec Region Land Trust, and Friends of Merrymeeting Bay.
