Kennebec Explorers Day Camp (August 3-7, 2015)
August 3 7
9 a.m. 4 p.m. Day Camps
Presented by Maine Maritime Museum and Kennebec Estuary Land Trust
Your kids will love this five-day camp collaboratively lead by Maine Maritime Museum & Kennebec Estuary Land Trust. Our camp will help foster your child's natural curiosity for history and science and be one of their favorite activities of the summer. Campers will explore the unique and rare ecosystem of Merrymeeting Bay, and its dynamic history that makes it one of America’s great waterways. This year we’ve partnered with the staff at Kennebec Estuary Land Trust to provide outdoor excursions and guided activities that include hands-on projects, site visits to unique locations, boat cruises and kayak trips on the Bay, so campers gain a sense of stewardship for this unique place.
