Seguin Island Lighthouse Cruise and Island Exploration - August 11

Monthly, on the 11th,   August 11, 2017 — August 11, 2017

10 a.m. — 3 p.m.  Specialty Cruises

The Seguin Island Light Station is Maine's tallest and second-oldest light station. For this trip, you'll travel by bus from the Museum to Phippsburg to board a narrated cruise to Seguin Island.  At Seguin Island, you'll be rowed to shore to tour the island's trails, get an inside look at the keeper's house and museum and climb the light tower.

Representatives from the Friends of Seguin Island Light will join us to share the story of the light.

This is a very active trip.  Participants must be able to transfer from the boat to a dinghy to access the island. The climb to the top of the island, and access to the light is strenuous and may not be appropriate for those with health issues or who are uncomfortable with heights.

This cruise will run July 11, August 11, and September 9.

Members $56; nonmembers $70
