Will Ansel of Georgetown, ME returns to the MMM Boatshop to discuss his new book: "What Boat Carpenters Argue About, or I Never Saw it Done That Way Before". Will is a lifelong boatbuilder and sailor who previously worked in the Museum's original Apprenticeshop as well as boatyard of Mystic Seaport. Will's latest book, discusses the many idiosyncrasies of wooden boats and how difficult it is for builders to agree on anything. When not building dories and half models at his shop in Georgetown, Will is building skiffs with kids from Georgetown Elementary school. Books will be available for purchase and signing by the author. Bring your questions, but be prepared for a wide variety of correct answers!
