Wyoming Masts Dedication, Celebration & Open House
9:30 a.m. 5 p.m. Special Events
Join Maine Maritime Museum on Saturday, June 1 as we celebrate the completion of the Wyoming evocation with a full-day of festivities.
There'll be a dedication ceremony recognizing those persons and organizations who made it possible to raise the masts on the sculpture, as well as flag and banner raisings on each of the masts. Cannons will be fired, the band will play and there will be lots of pomp and circumstance. This free, public event will take place rain or shine.
Admission to the Museum will be free all day. There will be special demonstrations, tours, and river cruises throughout the day. There will be a fee for the river cruises, but everything else is free.
In the afternoon, the internationally renown folk music duo, "Schooner Fare," will perform a free concert on the Percy & Small Shipyard grounds.
Bring the entire family, pack a picnic or pick up something at the Even Keel Snack Shack, and spend the entire day. Or catch those activities that are most in your wheelhouse.
There's plenty of free parking, but if the lots should fill street parking is allowed on Bath city streets, except in areas marked with no parking signs.
