Lobstermobile Retires to Maine Maritime Museum

After spending 15 years in Florida serving as the official vehicle of Orlando restaurant Boston Lobster Feast, the Lobstermobile has retired to the Maine Maritime Museum. The Lobstermobile, generously donated to the museum by Boston Lobster Feast, arrived at its new home in Bath, Maine, on Tuesday, May 19, after a road trip up the East Coast. The Lobstermobile toured Freeport, Brunswick and downtown Bath before arriving at the museum late this morning.

Visitors will be able to check out the one-of-a-kind car at the museum all summer long, including at the grand opening of our new exhibit, Lobstering & the Maine Coast, on Sunday, July 26. Lobstering & the Maine Coast, a permanent, 6,200-square-foot exhibit, will tell the complete, authentic story of Maine’s most iconic fishery, from trap to table.
