Deck Prisms provided a safe source of natural sunlight on sailing ships to illuminate areas below deck in the days before electricity. Today they can be used in window sills and as paper weights and still refract light in the same fashion. This large size prism is approximately 4 inches wide by 4.5 inches tall. It is light green in color. A brass hanger is available if you wish to suspend your prism.
