Mary E Ball Cap

This hat sports the newest acquisition to the museum, the Bath-built fishing schooner "Mary E" Built in 1906 by Thomas Hagan, "Mary E" is the oldest wooden schooner built on the Kennebec River still afloat. She is of modest size, but has withstood the test of time, unlike many other fishing schooners of her time.

Wear your cap with pride and salute the ship that has been welcomed back to her hometown of Bath, on the grounds of Maine Maritime Museum.
