Volunteer Information Parties

Do you live in Maine's mid coast?

Do you enjoy telling visitors about the rich history and culture that make our area so inviting and memorable?

Do you have a few hours a week during the summer season that you would be willing to share your passion with visitors from across the nation and around the world?

If you answered yes, the Volunteers of Maine Maritime Museum  would like to talk to you about joining them as a Front Line Volunteer. Front Line Volunteers serve as greeters, tour guides and docents who interact with Museum visitors. Don't worry, you don’t have to be a local history expert because training is provided.

There are also a number of perks for being a volunteer, including free social events, activities and group outings.

In the next several weeks the MMM Volunteer Council will be hosting informal “Information Parties” to give interested individuals a no-pressure opportunity to learn from current volunteers  about the many opportunities available as a MMM Volunteer. If you'd like to learn more, check out the party times below and call the Volunteer Office at 443-1316, ext. 350 or email volunteer@maritimeme.org to let us know you'll be attending. You will be warmly welcomed.
