Arriving by Boat
Maine Maritime Museum is located at Lat: 43 degrees 53.689', Long: 069 degrees 48.889' - 10 miles up the Kennebec River from the Gulf of Maine.
From late-May to mid-October, the Museum offers a mooring field, floating dock space, and a 75' pier that can accommodate vessels from 60 to 300 feet in length. To ensure availability of suitable accommodations for your vessel, advanced reservations are highly recommended and can be made by calling (207) 443-1316 ext. 0, during normal business hours.
Maine Maritime Museum provides a welcoming experience for boaters with a Visiting Yachtsmen's Building that includes restrooms, showers, and laundry facilities. Excellent restaurants, shopping, grocery stores, pharmacy and other services are minutes away onboard the City of Bath bus, which stops in front of the Museum hourly during the day, or a pleasant walk or short cab ride at other times.
A paid mooring or docking fee includes up to two admission tickets to the Museum for the ship's company; additional tickets can be purchased, and mooring or docking fees paid, at the Admissions Desk when the Museum is open (daily 9:30 to 5).
