Daisy Braun, a featured artist in Uncharted: Maine Artists | Maine Waters exhibition series, will discuss her inspirations and process in designing her current installation, Meeting the Current. Daisy’s monumental sculptures inspired by microscopic plankton species brings attention to the delicate balance of ocean eco-systems and our dependence on their survival. Her creativity is inspired by conversations with real-world conservation and oceanographic scientists studying the Gulf of Maine.
