July 31 – August 4
This week is all about conservation. We will learn about the wonders of our surrounding environment and some actions to help protect and save it. Through fun activities, art projects, and guest speakers, we will work together to be champions of the earth.
Nature hikes, beach trips, shipyard games, crafts, science… The fun goes on and on!
This summer, Maine Maritime Museum will offer seven sessions of our five-day summer camp that will develop your child’s curiosity for natural exploration and all things maritime. With a different theme for each session, repeating campers will gain new experiences every week.
Campers will explore the ecosystem of Merrymeeting Bay and gain a sense of stewardship for this special place. Each week, campers will take part in field trips, boat cruises on the Kennebec River, games, science experiments, crafts, and learn from guest speakers.
Small weekly groups, low camper-to-counselor ratios, and experienced educators make for an unforgettable camp experience.
Members $280 // Non-Members $300
Rising 2 – 5 Grade Students
Camp runs from 9 am – 4 pm Monday through Friday. Early drop-off and late pick-up is available (8 am – 5:30 pm) for an additional $35.
