Join Shoshannah White, featured artist in the Uncharted: Maine Artists, Maine Waters exhibition series, as she delves into her inspirations and creative process behind her Strata series. White will share her technical process of using cameraless photography that uses direct manipulation of exposed photographic paper to create evocative images representing the tension between two natural resources: coal and ice. The work includes landscape photographs captured in Svalbard, Norway and prints made from Pennsylvania coal and melted glacier ice from Prince William Sound, Alaska.
