Come join us for our STEAMbox program, where you will explore maritime topics through hands-on learning in STEM + the arts to create, build, and problem solve. All workshops are held on Saturdays from 10:30 am until 11:30 am. Content appropriate for ages 4 – 10 years, but all are welcome. Pre-registration is required, and opens one month in advance. Registration is only necessary for the child(ren) taking part in the activity and one accompanying adult (additional adults are welcome but not required to register).

When sunlight interacts with us, it warms us.  When it interacts with light sensitive paper and ultraviolet reactive beads, it creates magical art.  Come explore the effects the sunlight has on these objects, while creating your own solar prints and UV jewelry. 

STEAMbox programs are generously funded by First Federal Savings, allowing us to offer this program free to the public.
