“From the Ocean floor to your Door”
Join us at the Maine Maritime Museum and learn to weave a recycled lobster line (rope) doormat with Kerin of Cape Porpoise Trading Company. This workshop will be held outdoors along the beautiful Kennebec River. Turn old lobster line into an eco-friendly, handmade (by you) mat for your home! These rugs are great for indoor or outdoor use. All weaving material is retired line used by Maine lobstermen.
On June 24, we will offer six 1-hour sessions. Each session is limited to two participants. So bring a friend and enjoy a private workshop where you leave with your own hand-made recycled material doormat!

Workshop includes weaving lesson, supplies, and a completed doormat (approximately 30″ x 17″ x 1.25″).
