Shipyards & Lighthouses Cruise
Explore the Kennebec River where shipbuilding began more than 400 years ago and continues today. Cruising past BIW see spectacular views of the Navy’s most advanced ships taking shape. Then cruise down river to enjoy a water view of the museum’s historic shipyard and two of the Kennebec’s famed lighthouses: Doubling Point Light and the Kennebec Range Lights. Running daily at 12 pm and 2 pm, May 18-October 27.* Members $30; nonmembers $37; 6-12 years $20; under 6 $6 *Saturday 2 pm cruises end on October 5.

Lighthouse Lovers Cruise (4 hours)
See up to 10 of Maine’s most iconic lighthouses: Doubling Point Light, Kennebec Range Lights, Squirrel Point Light, Perkins Island Light, Pond Island Light, Seguin Island Light, Cuckolds Light, Ram Island Light, Burnt Island Light, and Hendricks Head Light. Mary E Kennebec River Sail (2.5 hours)
Sail down the Kennebec River aboard the historic 1906 schooner Mary E; the only Kennebec-built schooner still afloat. Help us set and trim sails as our crew share tales from her colorful history, or just sit back and enjoy the scenery. You’ll pass by the site of the Thomas E. Hagan yard where Mary E was built in 1906, see Doubling Point Light and the Kennebec Range Lights, and get a unique view of Navy vessels under construction at Bath Iron Works.
