A special 30-minute cruise for our youngest sailors! These Saturday morning mini cruises depart from the Bath city dock at Linwood E. Temple Waterfront Park. See the City of Ships and Bath Iron Works from the water; cruise under the Carlton Bridge, and into the Sasanoa River, where you might spot the ospreys and eagles that live in the area. After returning to the dock, grab some goods at the Bath Farmer’s Market or do a little shopping downtown. Capacity is limited to 20 guests, book your seats now! Shipyards & Lighthouses Cruise Board the museum's comfortable cruise boat Merrymeeting to explore the lower Kennebec River where American shipbuilding began more than 400 years ago and continues today! Cruise up the river to Bath Iron Works and for spectacular views of the Navy's most advanced ships under construction. Downriver, enjoy a water view of the museum's historic Percy & Small Shipyard, as well as an up-close look at two of the Kennebec River's famed lighthouses: Doubling Point Light and the Kennebec Range Lights.  There's something for everyone on this cruise! See the Kennebec‘s most beautiful lighthouses in the splendor of fall! During this autumn cruise you’ll see up to six lighthouses: Doubling Point Light, the Kennebec Range Lights, Squirrel Point Light, Perkins Island Light, Pond Island Light, and Seguin Island Light. Running Monday through Thursday at 3:30 pm, October 4-21, and Saturday at 3:30 September 4-October 23. Members $35; nonmembers $43; 6-12 years $27; under 6 $6

Sail down the Kennebec aboard the historic schooner Mary E; now on the National Register of Historic Places and the only Kennebec-built schooner still afloat. Help us set and trim sails as our crew share tales from her colorful history, or just sit back and enjoy this unforgettable experience. You'll pass by the site of the Thomas E. Hagan yard where Mary E was built in 1906, see Doubling Point Light and the Kennebec Range Lights and get a unique view of Navy vessels under construction at Bath Iron Works.
