School Vacation Free Program: What’s a Shell Midden??

Drop by Maine Maritime Museum between 11 & 2 for this pop-up activity during school vacation week! In this experience, visitors will learn about shell middens, why they are important and what they can teach us. Through hands-on engagement, together we will take part in the exploring of a recreation of a midden. Admission is free for members and children 17 & under; adults are $20.
