No woodworking experience is necessary to build this beautiful and functional work of art--more than 200 have been built by our 5th to 8th-grade boatbuilding students. This class is held over two evenings in the Boatshop, October 13 & 14, 5-8 pm.

A perennial favorite of first-time woodworkers! Over two evenings in the Boatshop (December 1 & 2 from 5-8 pm), you'll build a set of three elegant nesting oval boxes using boatbuilding techniques such as clinch nailing and steam bending. No experience is required; this popular class is a fantastic introduction to woodworking. Boxes are made from cherry and cedar, and all materials are provided.
