Monday, 2/17
Woodcarving & Scavenger Hunts: Learn the art of woodcarving with a demonstration from a local professional, then follow clues through our galleries to discover shipwrecks, souvenirs, and seal pups.
Tuesday, 2/18
SeaPerch Underwater Robotics: Design, build, and launch an ROV, studying the uses and abilities of remote-operated underwater robots. For youngsters, Magic Scratch sea animals and coloring!
Wednesday, 2/19
Fishing Gear & SCUBA Suits: Compare eras of fishing outfits then fashion your own design on a mannequin. Plus, an up-close examination of SCUBA gear.
Thursday, 2/20
Sailing & Shipbuilding: Learn what it took to be a 19th century sailor and shipwright by tying knots, trying hand tools, and assembling a schooner model.
Friday, 2/21
Frozen Kingdom: Explore the ice trade, handle ice blocks, and discover new ways to enjoy the Maine winter!
