OPEN DAILY 9:30 to 5

Free Admission Weekends are Back Thanks to Bath Savings!

As part of our ongoing effort to improve accessibility, we will be offering free admission on weekends to all visitors through January and February, thanks to the generous support of Bath Savings!

“With free admission weekends, we’re hoping to provide a low-barrier activity for our community, especially in what can sometimes be a quiet or isolating time of year,” according to Chelsea Lane, Director of Visitor Experience. “And since we open multiple new exhibits throughout the year, there’s always something new to see.”

During this time, the our curatorial staff will be hard at work on new exhibits. On January 27, Women Behind the Lens will close, and on February 9, Lost and Found: Sounds of the Maine Coast by Dianne Ballon will open in its place. The last opportunity to experience SeaChange: Darkness and Light in the Gulf of Maine will be extended to February 25.

Throughout the winter, complimentary indoor tours of the historic Percy & Small shipyard will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturdays and Sundays. In addition, local LEGO artist Colby Adolphsen will have on display a 75-inch by 30-inch Maine Fishing Village constructed out of LEGO throughout free admission weekends.

We hope you’ll consider joining us!
