Ships are cramped spaces and sailors had little room to store their personal things, usually no bigger than a suitcase. This hands-on learning workshop will sharpen your critical thinking and creative skills. Together, families will learn about what sailors took on their long journeys and how they personalized their chests to reflect their adventures. Then, families will work together to construct and decorate their own mini sea chests. Content appropriate for ages 4 – 10 years, but all are welcome.
