Maine Maritime Museum is pleased to offer our curriculum of woodworking projects for home school students!
Upcoming Classes
Our next classes will explore various aspects of woodworking & boatbuilding. All tools, materials, and safety equipment are provided. Staff and volunteer instructors will provide instruction, guidance, experience, and motivation.
Thursdays, 1:00–3:00 pm
Ages 9–18
Cost: $160
Upcoming session beginning on September 3
Each session is 4 weeks
Students are required to follow the Boatshop dress code: Pants, close-toed shoes, and the ability to tie one’s hair back when necessary, if applicable.
Please dress warmly, the Boatshop normally stays at 60 degrees. Make-up time can be scheduled in the event of inclement weather or special circumstances; there will be no refunds for absences.
