Once we have confirmed that your inquiry has been received, please allow up to 4 weeks for a response.
Students, representatives of the press, and other museums and historical societies are not charged for research requests.

In-Depth Research
Designed for research requests that require significant staff time to complete (up to 5 hours total).
Pricing: $50.00/hour. Maine Maritime Museum members receive a 10% discount.
Includes: Explanation of findings and up to ten pages of source material scans (PDFs). Additional scans (up to 25 pages) are $0.25/page.
Reproduction Requests (personal use only)
For requests that identify specific source materials and/or images in the Maine Maritime Museum collection.
Reference Materials: $0.50/page
High Quality Scans (archival materials and photographs): $10/image
