Connect with the watery energy of the first full moon of the year as we explore how we can turn inward, nurture our emotional wisdom, and come home to ourselves and communities. Expect to engage with meditation, ritual, gentle movement, tarot, astrology, and conversation to embrace this powerful moment in the lunar cycle.

Bring a yoga mat/cushion to sit on the floor or opt to sit in a provided chair.

About Maya

Maya Rook, creator of Firefly Studio, has offered monthly Full Moon Gatherings in Midcoast Maine since the spring of 2022. She loves creating space for community to come together on these potent moments in the lunar cycle to explore the current energy arising. These sessions are informed by her experiences as a yoga and meditation instructor, practitioner of natural magic and Buddhism, and work as a cultural historian. Participants have described Maya’s approach to Full Moon Gatherings as welcoming, magical, creative, interdisciplinary, and grounding. After attending a gathering, you will walk away with a deeper connection to yourself and others, as well as fresh perspectives of how you view the world around you.
