What is the difference between a grey seal and a harbor seal? Complete a series of activities that teach us about the nature of these amazing creatures that can be found on the Kennebec River.  We will explore migration patterns, food, blubber, and differences in the two species, before making seal creations.  

Our STEAMbox program, where you will explore maritime topics through hands-on learning in STEM + the arts to create, build and problem solve, are held on Saturdays from 10:30–11:30 am. The content appropriate for ages 4–10 years, but all are welcome. Pre-registration is required, and opens one month in advance. Registration is only necessary for the child(ren) taking part in the activity, but please make sure they come with at least one accompanying adult (additional adults are welcome).
