STEAMbox Family Workshop: Winter Wonders

  • Maine Maritime Museum 243 Washington St Bath United States (map)

What happens in the Kennebec Estuary during the winter? Who migrates and who stays? Why? Answer these questions, then see if you can find evidence of life outside the museum on the banks of the Kennebec and make your own tracks.

Our STEAMbox program, where you will explore maritime topics through hands-on learning in STEM + the arts to create, build and problem solve, are held on Saturdays from 10:30–11:30 am. The content appropriate for ages 4–10 years, but all are welcome. Pre-registration is required, and opens one month in advance. Registration is only necessary for the child(ren) taking part in the activity, but please make sure they come with at least one accompanying adult (additional adults are welcome).

STEAMbox programs are generously funded by First Federal Savings, allowing us to offer this program free to the public.
