What did sailors on traditional sailing vessels do for entertainment in the 19th century? Come explore some common pastimes, try them on for size, and leave with a product of one of these hobbies!

Our STEAMbox program, where you will explore maritime topics through hands-on learning in STEM + the arts to create, build and problem solve, are held on Saturdays from 10:30–11:30 am. The content appropriate for ages 4–10 years, but all are welcome. Pre-registration is required, and opens one month in advance. Registration is only necessary for the child(ren) taking part in the activity, but please make sure they come with at least one accompanying adult (additional adults are welcome).

STEAMbox programs are generously funded by First Federal Savings, allowing us to offer this program free to the public.
