Maine Maritime Museum volunteer corps invites you to learn about the opportunities for connection and service the museum provides.

Join us in Long Reach Hall for light refreshments and conversation. Many of our 200+ volunteers will be ready and waiting to share stories about why they love giving their time to the museum and being a part of our community. Whether you’re interested in guiding tours or restoring boats, greeting visitors or blacksmithing, Maine Maritime Museum has a way for you to give back to your community.

Admission to the museum is free for volunteer fair visitors. Additionally, current volunteers who bring a friend, neighbor, or relative to learn about volunteer opportunities can enter both their and their guest’s names for a chance to win two Merrymeeting Lighthouse & Nature cruise tickets!
