This spring, The Telling Room will offer a four-part workshop for young writers at Maine Maritime Museum!

We’ll spend time exploring the exhibits, and then use art and artifacts from Maine’s rich maritime culture to inspire our writing. From ship models to teacups, sea monsters to scrimshaw, participants will start by paying close attention, then let their imaginations run wild!

Led by Telling Room Education Manager Marjolaine Whittlesey, this workshop is open to any young person aged 9 to 14 seeking inspiration and a creative outlet. 

Wednesdays, 3:30–5:00 pm,  April 30, May 7, 14, and 21.
