Kurt Spiridakis, Director of Boatbuilding
Kurt has been on the team at Maine Maritime Museum since 2008. Kurt earned a B.A. from University of Pennsylvania, with a double major in Economics and Sociology. After college, Kurt went on to complete a 9-month boatbuilding apprenticeship at the Carpenter's Boatshop in Pemaquid, Maine.
Before landing in Bath, Kurt spent two years as boatbuilding instructor at the Alexandria Seaport Foundation in Alexandria, Virginia, teaching wooden boatbuilding and life skills to apprentices aged 17–21.
