We’ll also engage with tarot, astrology, and conversation to dive deep into the intuitive and mysterious qualities of this powerful moment in the lunar cycle. As this full moon falls on Beltane, also known as May Day, we'll honor themes of love, light, fertility, and growth at the height of spring and promise of summer ahead.

Bring a yoga mat/cushion to sit on the floor or opt to sit in a provided chair.

About Maya

Maya Rook, creator of Firefly Studio, has offered monthly Full Moon Gatherings in Midcoast Maine since the spring of 2022. She loves creating space for community to come together on these potent moments in the lunar cycle to explore the current energy arising. These sessions are informed by her experiences as a yoga and meditation instructor, practitioner of natural magic and Buddhism, and work as a cultural historian. Participants have described Maya’s approach to Full Moon Gatherings as welcoming, magical, creative, interdisciplinary, and grounding. After attending a gathering, you will walk away with a deeper connection to yourself and others, as well as fresh perspectives of how you view the world around you.
