The date of this event has been changed to Sunday, October 18.

Reading Between the Ribs of Maine’s Maritime History

Interco(a)stal Walk | Sunday, October 18 | 9:00 am–4:00 pm
North End Boat Launch → Maine Maritime Museum, Bath
Free and open to the public · Registration required · Lunch provided

Interco(a)stal will culminate in a public WHERE walk and site activation. This daylong, multisensory, embodied encounter with the City of Ships will invite participants to engage Maine's maritime history through multiple lenses and ways of knowing while exploring what it means to "read between the ribs" of official narratives.

Interco(a)stal Afternoon Program | Sunday, October 18 | 1:00–4:00 pm

Join us at Maine Maritime Museum for lunch and an afternoon of historical interpretation, art, music, poetry, performance, augmented reality, and participatory installations, culminating in the unveiling and activation of our collective reimagining of Wyoming evocation. This experience occurs after the morning walk from the North End Boat Launch to Maine Maritime Museum.
