Ship Launching Demonstrators (Volunteer)

POSITION SUMMARY

Ship Launching Demonstrators help visitors understand the process of launching great schooners using the interactive tank on the museum campus.

Demonstrators work 3.5-hour shifts in an outdoor, shaded location, ready to greet and offer interpretation to groups of museum visitors. Maritime background knowledge and experience are not required.

Demonstrators are managed by the Museum Education Specialist.

This is an unpaid, volunteer position.
